Be a great runner and cut the c.r.a.p

Running requires energy. Fact.

Make sure that you are feeding your body with good fuel and cut out the crap, literally.

C- carbonated drinks are full of fructose which is processed by the body as a toxin and turns into fat. Best to cut down on fizzy drinks and replace with water or herbal tea.

r- refined sugar such as cakes, white bread, cookies and pastries. These are high gi foods which will spike your sugar levels causing your energy to drop.

a- artificial flavourings found in take aways, cakes and sweets. These are processed by the body as toxins which is turned into fat, not energy!

p- processed foods are high in trans fats. Trans fats are put into processed foods to give them a longer shelf life. They can contribute to increased cholesterol and heart disease. Processed foods are also high in sugar and effectively contain empty calories which provide no energy. Opt for the fresh stuff if you want the nutrients to sustain you with the energy for exercise.
